Northern Alberta Railway Station Museum preserves the region’s rail history inside a beautifully restored Northern Alberta Railway station. The museum serves as a tribute to the thousands of soldiers who arrived by train in 1942 to build the Alaska Highway. Visitors can explore numerous life-like exhibits depicting daily life during that era, including a detailed recreation of the stationmaster’s living quarters. The museum also features First Nations artifacts representing the Indigenous peoples who settled in the area long before European arrival.
