The Homestead trail is well marked and maintained and has spectacular views of Mount Iliamna and Mount Redoubt. It is 6.7 miles long. From the Sterling Highway near the Bay View Motel, turn on Rogers Loop road to access the trailhead. There are two other access points on this trail so we recommend picking up a trail map from the Visitor Center.
